July 2026Logistics Digital Twin: Fleet & Storage Operator
01
The problem
A logistics operator running fleet and storage had no single source of truth for its own operation. Lorry positions, staff availability, and stock location lived in separate heads and separate systems. Every operational decision required someone to go and check. The cost wasn't visible on any P&L, but it showed up everywhere: in delay, in duplicated effort, in decisions made on incomplete information.
02
The build
This project is at pilot stage. Amo Veritas embedded directly into the operator's business and built the ontology first: assets, routes, storage locations, staff, stock, modelled as a single connected structure rather than separate spreadsheets pretending to talk to each other. On top of that ontology sits a live operating layer, not a dashboard bolted on after the fact, but the system through which the operation is actually run. The product was built using third-party app builders such as Base44 and Lovable, and runs on third-party systems rather than our own servers. Every key member of staff sees the same operational reality in real time: where every lorry is, what is stored where, who is available and where they're deployed, what each route is doing right now.
03
What changed
- Route planning generated from live data, not habit
- Team scheduling driven by actual availability, not guesswork
- Storage allocation optimised in real time
- Pricing generated automatically and visually, from the same underlying model
04
Security and deployment
The system runs on third-party systems, not the operator's own servers. The product was built using third-party app builders such as Base44 and Lovable. Access is scoped to the operator's own staff, and the deployment is isolated to their business alone, nothing pooled with other clients, nothing exposed outside their own operation.
05
Why it matters
The operator no longer runs the business by asking people what's happening. The system knows, continuously, and shows it to whoever needs to see it.
